Firebase Studio

firebase.studio

Web-based workspace designed to accelerate full-stack application development.

Overview

Firebase Studio is a web-based workspace designed to accelerate full-stack application development. It combines AI-powered agents, integrated development tools, and cloud emulators to enable developers to build backends, frontends, and mobile apps all in one place—from opening a browser to shipping code in minutes.

The platform integrates Gemini AI to assist with coding, debugging, testing, refactoring, and documentation. It supports importing existing repositories from GitHub, GitLab, and Bitbucket, or creating new applications from templates and natural language descriptions. Developers can preview apps in real-time with built-in web previews and Android emulators, and deploy directly to Firebase App Hosting, Cloud Run, or custom infrastructure.

Note: Firebase Studio is being sunset on March 22, 2027. Google recommends migrating to Google AI Studio or Google Antigravity for continued development.
