Nuxt Content
File-based CMS module for Nuxt with Markdown, MDC, and content querying.
Overview
Nuxt Content is a module for Nuxt that provides a simple way to manage content within your git repository. It allows developers to write content in Markdown, YAML, JSON, or CSV files and query them with a MongoDB-like API directly in their Vue components.
The module combines file-based simplicity with Vue component power, enabling you to use Vue components with props and slots inside Markdown files through the MDC syntax. It features type-safe queries through TypeScript integration, SQLite-powered storage with custom fields, and code highlighting with Shiki integration.
Nuxt Content works on all hosting providers—static, server, serverless, and edge—and integrates with Nuxt Studio, a visual editor that lets non-technical team members edit content in production while publishing changes directly to Git.
